National Geographic Mega Fossil & Gemstone Dig Kit Unveiled

National Geographic has launched its latest hands‑on learning tool, the Mega Fossil And Gemstone Dig Kit. The set is aimed at kids who want to experience fieldwork without leaving home. Inside the kit users find everything needed to excavate twenty authentic specimens – a mix of fossils and gemstones – and detailed instructions written by National Geographic specialists.¹

By allowing children to handle genuine samples under expert guidance, the kit turns abstract concepts into tangible experiences, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking about natural processes.
