In a recent issue of the European Journal of Mineralogy, the International Mineralogical Association’s Commission on New Minerals, Nomenclature and Classification (CNMNC) released Newsletter 92. The article appears in volume 38, pages 491–495, authored by Ferdinando Bosi, Frédéric Hatert, Marco Pasero, and Stuart J. Mills 1.
Newsletter 92 summarizes ongoing work of the CNMNC, including new mineral discoveries, proposed changes to naming conventions, and guidance for consistent classification practices.
